Hi There!
If you found this Vlog you are probably planning or looking to plan your next Disney World vacation. I hope you find some tips and tricks within this post. I also vlogged each day of the trip that has everything linked that I use to make sure that we have a smooth day in the parks, so be sure to watch the video of our day in Epcot during Flower & Garden Festival if you want to see the tips put to use!
Tips and Tricks to soaking in everything Flower & Garden Festival has to offer:
We were there for the first full week of EPCOT's Flower & Garden Festival. This festival is without a doubt the most beautiful time of the year at the parks! A favorite of mine during this festival that I actually don't show in the VLOG are all of the concerts! You can always see some pretty big names come through during this festival! A few of the big names for this year's Garden Rocks lineup included: Daughtry, Smash Mouth, Steve Augeri from Journey, Switchfoot, Kool & the Gang, Casting Crowns, Plain White T's, and many many more! I used to love when I lived in Orlando full-time going to these concerts after work and grabbing dinner at one of the festival stands.
We did not have Genie+ for this day because honestly other than Frozen or Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, most of the rides have pretty short lines. My favorite ride at EPCOT is Figment or Living with the Land. Both of these rides I feel like are hidden treasures at EPCOT! Over the last couple of years, Figment is starting to get the attention he deserves, but many still don't know who he is (that is until his movie comes out soon!) Living with the Land is another ride that many say they don't know. I don't know if this is because it's in the same area as Soarin' and the aquarium/nemo, and so people just don't go that direction because they don't realize how interesting of a boat ride it is, but it's so neat seeing how Disney grows all of it's produce! (Farm girl nerding out majorly!) Both of these rides though I have never had to wait in line and have been able to walk straight on every single time. If you are spending a full day at Epcot then it is very easy to knock out all of the rides, eat (or drink) your way around the world and still probably have some time left to relax at one of the outdoor concerts before the firework show.
A favorite location of mine for a snack on the cheaper side is in France. If you go to Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserrie you can get a baguette for a couple of dollars and then stop by Le Vins des Chefs de France for a wine tasting (with very attractive French men usually) and you have the perfect snack by the fountain!
